A Very Quiet Week at The Races

A Very Quiet Week at The Races

We have had a very quiet week on the runners front we were pleased with how Uther Pendragon ran on Wednesday, in what turned out to be pretty awful racing conditions, was hard to spot which horse was which in the driving rain and haze that followed. Stan thinks that Wholelotafun prefers the turf surface so we will wait now for the grass for him to run again.

Starting to get a little excited now with the 2023 turf season only a couple of months away. We have a few pretty nice 2 year olds that look racy and precocious so be nice to have some early runners with them. Looking ahead we really are looking forward to seeing how The Wizard of Eye and Raintown (two that have hit the headlines) might fair this year. Could be exciting times ahead.

Some good racing here and in Ireland this weekend so plenty to watch.

Stans tip is: Petite Tonnerre E/W in the 2.40 at Kempton

The Secretarys tip is: Nestor Park E/W in the 3.00 at Warwick
