A Close One On Wednesday

Been a bit on the nippy side in Lambourn, with some biting frosts, luckily for us escaped the snow so far and hoping the predicted warmer weather will be coming in this week. The Jump boys are really struggling with the cold weather making the jump racing suffer a bit. We had a very close call on Wednesday where Hot Day was given a lovely ride by young Jordan Williams, finishing a very unlucky 2nd just getting squeezed up on the line. He really has been putting his best hooves forward and surely deserves to get his head in front soon!

Pleased enough with Easy Equation who ran at Southwell today, he ran another solid race ideally we think he needs 2 miles plus now but he is in good form and again will be winning soon.

Got a few entered next week, not sure where they will run, but would be good to get the first winner of 2023 on the board.

Sadly lot a lot of the racing due to the frost.
