Busy Weekend, Quiet Week

Busy Weekend, Quiet Week

We had a busy weekend with runners The Wizard of Eye was only beaten just over 3 lengths at Ascot in a hot handicap so not disappointed with him. Looking ahead to try and find a nice race for him so will let you all know as know he has a bit of a following. Had a great run on Monday from Go Your Own Way, he's always shown us plenty at home and was fantastic to see him run to that mark at Windsor on Monday. We were unlucky to have come up against one that looked pretty smart Birkie Boy actually ran a blinder for Olivia Tubb in the same race as her tack started to slide when she came out the stalls so she had  a real job to stay on board let alone keep her balance to finish 3rd on him. Sure there is a little race or two to be won with him he has a fab attitude and tries very hard. Could see both of those runners make it in to the winners enclosure some time soon.

Only two runners at the weekend hoping for a better show this time from Cable Strike and also run Hieloray for the first time at Bath as well. He is a grey colt who looks very like his sire; Phoenix of Spain, lets hope he has nearly as much ability!

We have been under a deluge of torrential rain last night and today, think Olly Murs Fans will be praying for some sunshine tomorrow at Newbury Races. We can't complain too much as did manage to get a couple of days sunshine in this week.

All the team at Berkeley House Stables would like to wish The Lionesses the BEST OF LUCK ON SUNDAY, KEEP PLAYING LIKE YOU HAVE GIRLS AND YOU WILL BE BRINGING HOME THE CUP!

Some good racing to look forward to at the weekend.
