Where Are You Springtime!
Really is a case of RAIN RAIN GO AWAY at the moment, so dreary, dull and wet we are truly getting sick of it and both us and the horses are in need of a bit of sunshine now. Very pleased with how the horses have ran last weekend and through the week. Till It Shines ran an eye-catching first race finishing well at Bath on Sunday to finish 3rd she will make in to a nice filly. Raintown finished 4th and will step him up in trip again leaving owner Caroline Instone very happy. We also ran Havana Goldrush just got collared and also finished 3rd, so a pleasing Sunday for all. Touching Hands also owned by Caroline ran a nice race at Brighton, showing a glimmer of ability so could be a bit of fun to be had with her as she was staying on well over a mile and a quarter, we think she will get further as well.
Only one runner this weekend, we line up Fact or Fable at Salisbury to start his summer campaign, ground is forecast to be heavy but it shouldn't impeded him too much and we are hoping for a big run. Two runners at Bath on Monday; Tres Chic & Birkie Boy line up together and hope they both run well, with Touching Hands and Till It Shines pencilled in at Brighton on Thursday could be a big day for them both.
New inmates to the yard are a colt by Mohaather absolutely stunning, almost black he is to be called Obsidian Dream and had a new owner before he even arrived in the yard a buy from the Goffs Breeze Up, we then had come in this week from Tattersalls breeze up a colt by Havana Gold, a lovely big horse, he is an early foal and plenty to like about him, he is looking for an owner, could it be you! He is a full brother to a 2 and 3 year old winner his photo is on the blog.
As the two Guineas races are looming we have done a tip for both of them too alongside our normal Saturday tips!
