A damp week with a few runners
It is the Dublin Racing Festival this weekend at Leopardstown where we will see some of the big pointers for Cheltenham in March, top stuff as they say.
Its been a damp week, couple of places with runners, still waiting on our first win of 2025.
Saturnalia only beaten a head last Saturday so we are getting close.
On other news I think there is more pressing matters in racing to be getting on with rather than if trainers get paid for interviews or not.
How much has racing got out of the world pool betting?
I think trot ups should be reviewed, a lot of very good horses could not trot for love nor money, some trainers don't let horses trot, they are racehorses not show horses as they say, but you could go on and on. Its never been any different racing was in a better place 20 years ago, than it is now with all the so called change, but it is still the best in the world and we should all be behind it
